Implementation Science Core

The I-HEAL Focused Program Award will extend the successful collaboration among study investigators to advance the science of implementation within the field of TBI with the core’s consultation model. The goals of the ISC (Implementation Science Core) are to support individual projects, provide mentorship in IS (Implementation Science), and support dissemination efforts of knowledge translation products and overall development of the I-HEAL Toolshed with partners in the Community Engagement Council. I-HEAL uses a Human-Centered Design (HCD) process that guides the design and implementation of the proposed I-HEAL projects. HCD is an approach that “centers” end-users (i.e., the people who will ultimately use or benefit from a product or service) by integrating them into every aspect of the design process.
